In Windows, the best known recording application is without any doubt Nero, this application has evolved over time until it has become an all terrain application when speaking about recording and multimedia reproduction in general. And now it is trying to become as important in Linux with NeroLINUX.

  This application has been developed to be identical to the Windows edition, so that users that have used the Microsoft system version will have no problems at all when using this application.

  NeroLINUX has an interface that is identical to the Windows Nero Burning ROM, and it has two options, the assistant called Nero Express and the Nero Burning ROM without assistant, that has an interface that it is divided into two parts, one to look for the files that we want to record and another one to see how the information will be store on our disk and to be able to organize it.

  Logically, NeroLINUX is compatible with dozens of recording formats and mediums: data CD, audio CD, boot CD, mini CD,... DVD, where we will be able to choose among video DVD, DVD ISO, DVD UDF, etc.. and Blu-ray. What's more, if we need to, we will be able to generate the ISO image instead of burning it, or burn it from one drive to another.

  As well as all the things mentioned above, it also support multi-session discs and other advanced recording settings.
